Quality Control Manager

2. Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective quality control processes as per customer requirements.
2. Devise and review product and process specifications; set raw material requirements and monitor supplier compliance.
3. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and legal compliance standards.
4. Supervise inspectors, technicians, and QC staff; provide guidance, training, and feedback.
5. Oversee product development and testing to identify deviations from quality standards.
6. Inspect and validate final output against product requirements.
7. Maintain proper documentation, statistical analysis, and reporting.
8. Conduct gap analysis and implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
9. Handle OOS (Out of Specification) and OOT (Out of Trend) investigations.
10. Prepare and execute audit compliance reports; ensure successful audit closures.
11. Coordinate material tracking systems and ensure correct identification of materials.
12. Supervise QC inspection schedules and maintain Quality Records.
13. Perform sampling and analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, actives, and intermediates.
14. Ensure compliance with ISO 13485:2016 (MDQMS) and industry regulations.
15. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency.
 

Qualifications & Requirements:
1. M.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering / Material Science or equivalent.
2. 1–2 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance (Pharma/Chemical industry).
 

Desired Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of QC procedures, ISO standards, OOS/OOT handling, and audit management.
2. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
4. Strong communication and leadership abilities.
5. Detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of handling multiple tasks under deadlines.
